July Fun

I am sitting in a beautiful trailer, enjoying the lovely breeze and listening to my children playing at the park across the road.

… A few hours have passed and we are almost all tucked in for the night, ready to watch the Canada vs Australia World Cup game at 6:00 AM.  We’ll see who all gets out of bed.  Quiet time doesn’t end until 8:00 AM so everyone knows we need to cheer very quietly.

July has been fun.  The kids enjoyed the VBS at our church (Isaac volunteered with the youngest group and thoroughly enjoyed himself.). He also went to his first overnight camp with a friend and keeps telling us about all the fun things he was able to do.  Kohen and Lily-Anna have been in the pool for swimming lessons and enjoyed jumping in the big waves on Lake Huron this afternoon.  Lily-Anna was quite delighted to smear wet sand on herself and go wash off and repeat.

My dad and mom were honoured for 50 years of ministry this month both by the Eastern Ontario District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada and by our church.  I am thankful for their love and example.

I have started weekly injections to help alleviate the arthritis symptoms.  The first one went well and I have to do my second one now and go to sleep so we can start enjoying August tomorrow.  I’ll see if I can figure out how to add a photo from my phone.

Blessings,

Elizabeth

Matthew 6:33

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
