October

To my amazement, October is almost over.  Kohen and Lily-Anna enjoyed being with their friends and getting lots of candy tonight.  Lily-Anna was dressed as a fox and her friend was a goose.  Kohen wanted to wear the same Star Wars costume that he has worn the past two years.

October has passed quickly but it has been an eventful month.  My dad celebrated his 80th birthday in Northern Ireland along with my two brothers.  My dad travelled there with one of my brothers and came back with the other one.  He had a wonderful time.

We found out this week that Graham needs to look for a new job.  Due to restructuring at his company, many people lost their jobs.  We are thankful for God's peace and His perfect provision.  God will provide ... and we are happy to have people praying for us.

Both Isaac and Lily-Anna enjoyed running this month.  Lily-Anna's running club at school participated in one Fun Run.  Isaac went to a number of Cross Country runs and was happy with his times.

Kohen was on the tag football team at his school and they won the championship.

Lily-Anna has wanted to make caramel apples for a long time.  I finally made it happen and they were tasty!

We have our winter tires on so I guess it's okay if the cold weather is on its way (though we still need to remove the air conditioners from windows).  This fall has been absolutely lovely.  I always enjoy seeing the leaves change colour.

We've been able to start decluttering.  We still have a long way to go but it feels good to start.

I'm thankful for an extra hour tonight but I don't want to waste it being awake so I will say goodnight.  I know I need to figure out photos but it won't happen right now as it's time to sleep.

Blessings,

Elizabeth

1 Thessalonians 5:28
