It's February 28th and it feels like spring!  I took the boys to Graham's parents' property yesterday to help Grandpa Ray at the sugar shack.  They helped tap some maple trees and add the spiles and buckets.  The sap was flowing and we're looking forward to some maple syrup.  We are blessed indeed to be able to take part in this fun adventure.  Grandpa Ray is a great teacher and the boys had a good time on such a beautiful, sunny day.  Lily-Anna had fun playing with Grandma Betty.

We did have snow at the beginning of February and the boys enjoyed making a snowman.

Kohen took the bus with Graham to work one day and then I picked him up after dropping off Isaac at school.

I enjoyed taking both boys out separately to Starbucks for our annual Valentine's dates.  My brother and his family visited for the Family Day weekend and Isaac and Kohen were able to enjoy having their cousin sleep over.  Both Isaac and Kohen wanted to sleep on the floor in sleeping bags.

Kohen is now registered for Junior Kindergarten which will start in September.  He turns four next week.  I think he will enjoy it but Lily-Anna and I will miss him.

Sadly, we needed to attend the funeral of Graham's aunt.  It was nice to see so much family on this sad occasion.  She loved the colour orange so most of the crowd tried to wear something that colour.  We will miss her but we are thankful to know she loved Jesus and is with her Lord.  We will see her again.

Lily-Anna loves books.  She often doesn't nap in the afternoon, until we go in the van to pick up Isaac from school.  However, she will play in the crib with her dolls or babies and eventually she'll ask for books.

It was so nice to have Graham's brother stay with us, even though the visit had to be short and sweet.  He always has great stories that make us laugh.

Isaac loves to create - with Lego, with paper, and in stories.

It was a short month and this is a short post.  We'll see what adventures March has in store.  Thanks for any prayers.

Blessings,
Elizabeth

1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.  It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.  Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
