Eight hours have come and gone and we haven't heard any updates yet from the operating room. We are holding to the surgeon's advice "Don't watch the clock" and "No news is good news".
Isaac brought both sets of grandparents to visit this afternoon, so we're all having a great time watching his antics. He's a bundle of joy.
Thanks for your prayers everyone! We really appreciate all the comments on the blog and the emails -- they are very encouraging.
Blessings,
Graham and Elizabeth
hello Elizabeth and Graham,
ReplyDeleteIt is marvellous that both sets of grandparents and Master Isaac are with you for support and entertainment. It was really good of you to write a blog as I keep checking in. God continue to guide the expert hands of the surgeons, anaethetist, nurses and all the hospital staff. God bless you all and may you have good news of Josiah when the operation is completed successfully. "I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth".Psalm 34 v 1.Your father Kenneth always answers the phone with "Praise the Lord"
love and prayers from your auntie Julia.
Hi Elizabeth & Graham,
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blogs faithfully, so I know how to pray for Josiah, and for you. I also volunteer at the Father's Heart Healing Centre in Arthur and have Josiah's photo on our Miracle Wall.
Today I stood in proxy for Josiah and want to share with you what the prayer team felt led to pray.
1. That God has a plan for Josiah's life, a plan to prosper him and not to harm him.
2. That he would be healing during surgery and that he would not need to have any more surgeries.
3. Prayed a prayer of agreement with Grandpa Ray and the rest of the family, who want Josiah to be whole and well. (we have not because we ask not)
4. Called his spirit forth to bring healing to his body and that there would not be any interference from his soul.
5. someone saw a kingly anointing on Josiah, that he is a voice for his generation, and that he is already doing the Lord's work by drawing the body of Christ together in praying for him.
6. Someone heard the Lord shouting loudly..."I love him, I love him, I love him!!!
We are expecting a miracle!!!
All our love! Carol Weber
