A lovely day

Today was a lovely day in so many ways.  The weather was sunny.  Josiah's nurse took him for a long walk and Isaac had fun with his grandparents at the park.  We dropped him off at nap time so that Graham and I could go out for lunch together. 

Isaac and I put together a "5-in-1 Adjustable Gym" that Josiah received from an aunt and uncle for his birthday.  I taught Isaac through example that it's a really good idea to read the instructions before putting something together.  Let's just say it took longer to put it together than necessary.  Graham actually picked out this gym and it's perfect.

We first put it in front of Josiah when he was in his Bumbo chair and he started interacting with it right away.  Later, I also put it over top of him in his crib and he was happy to play with it there as well.  It's lovely to have something new for him to do when he needs to be lying in his crib.  I'm definitely excited about this.

I wish we could have spoken to everyone at the celebration yesterday at length.  I looked at the photos from the event and realized there were people whom I didn't even see let alone speak with.
