I remember being utterly exhausted a year ago this week while we were in the hospital. It was a hard week and I would definitely do things differently but I didn't know all my options back then.
We did make it to the library program this morning and we also found some ducks on our walk this afternoon. Isaac was telling Daddy about his walk at dinner time (with my encouragement). Graham asked him if he'd seen mommy ducks or daddy ducks. Isaac told him that he'd seen a drake (male duck). Thank you Grandpa F. for teaching Isaac vocabulary! Isaac also picked up some catkins on our walk.
The visiting nurse came by and thought Josiah looked great. His oral feeds are hit and miss but overall he's a lot happier.
My living room is still a big mess from the party preparations so I'll end now so that I can tidy it up. First, I'll draw up the 9:00 meds and get the formula ready and then fill the bags with syringes.
Here's the music that we used for the PowerPoint presentation on Sunday. The song is called When I'm With You by JJ Heller.
Thank you for your prayers!
Blessings,
Elizabeth
Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
I meant to return to the computer on Mon to write. Sunday was a wonderful day of joy to give all of the glory to God for being with Josiah and your family. Thankyou. As well, thankyou to Margaret and all of her helpers who knew how much God appreciated them even without a verbal thankyou...They knew.... May God breathe oxygen into Josiah's lungs today. Much love.
