PICC line to be assessed

We are heading to Grand River Hospital early tomorrow morning as Josiah is getting a vaccine and his paediatrician will also assess his PICC line.  It's been weeping the last few days so the nurse asked us to see the doctor.  We're praying that it will be okay as we really do not want to lose this line for various reasons, not the least of which is the fact that the end of the line is in the middle of a large clot.

Josiah was up a lot last night.  I gave him morphine at 3:30 AM.  It seems like he might be confusing day and night.  He was irritable and uncomfortable today.

I'm going to try to go to bed now so that I can attempt to keep my sanity.  Thank you so much for your prayers and support.

Blessings,

Elizabeth

And the LORD, He it is that doth go before thee; He will be with thee, He will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. Deuteronomy 31 v 8.

I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for Thou LORD, only maketh me dwell in safety.
    Psalm 4 v 8.

I was so pleased that you all attended church yesterday. I pray to our Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus and in the power of the Holy Spirit, that you are all soothed and protected by God's love, sleeping well tonight, and that everything goes smoothly tomorrow at Grand River Hospital as the doctor is guided by God regarding Josiah's PICC line. Heavenly Father, miraculously heal Josiah. Make all clots from his body disappear, and allow him to have his vaccination easily and comfortably. Thank you God and we give you the glory.

Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for Thou art my praise. Jeremiah 17 v 14.

love and prayers from your auntie Julia.

  2. Graham and Elizabeth, We were praying very specifically for peace for all of you tonight and a restful sleep for the entire family. The added stress of lack of sleep. must at times, feel overwhelming. Please know that many, many people are reading your blog and praying for you, but don't feel they know you well enough to leave comments. You are surrounded by a great team of prayer warriors and more importantly a God who knows your names and will not leave you!

    1. Hi Elizabeth. You probably don't remember me. I'm Junior, Alex's son from the church up north. I just wanted to wish you all the best for the holiday season and all the best for your 8 month old as he goes through this trying time.

      God bless,

      Junior
