A good night's sleep

Isaac and Josiah slept through the night last night!  Yeay!

Josiah was in good form early this morning but the nurse suggested giving him a higher dose of morphine due to his moaning.  We increased the dose for three of his feeds but I'm not sure if it made a difference.  It's hard to know what to do but we ask God for wisdom and know He provides.

Isaac was coughing a little less today, though I seemed to be coughing more.  Isaac had lots of fun with his aunt and Josiah certainly enjoyed her cuddles.  I checked the calendar and realized that we're having our first visit from a Hospice volunteer tomorrow afternoon so I rescheduled the visit from my in-laws to Thursday.  Our regular nurse is off tomorrow so we'll have a nurse who hasn't met Josiah before.  I hope they'll both adapt well to each other, especially as I'm still trying to keep my distance from Josiah due to my cold (as much as possible anyway).

We received a lovely card from a Grade 4 class today to let us know that they are praying for us.  It was such a nice surprise!

[Josiah just awoke so I've been trying to settle him for a while.  He stopped crying but I'm hoping he'll fall back to sleep soon.]

I'd better say goodnight.  Thank you for your prayers!

Blessings,

Elizabeth
