Isaac spent lots of time on the couch today, starting in the early morning hours. We've given him Tylenol and Advil throughout the day. He's woken up a couple of times so far this evening so this may be a long night. (Update: Grandpa is currently cuddling him on a chair as he keeps waking up, Graham is at a meeting and I need to attend to Josiah's feed and meds.)
Josiah had a good day. He saw the dietitian at 9:00 AM. She is hoping we can increase the amount of Josiah's feeds to 85 millilitres. We don't want to rock the boat with Josiah feeling better these last couple of weeks but we'll try it and stop if he seems uncomfortable. His weight, height, and head circumference are all around the 15th percentile which the dietitian was happy with. She was surprised to see how much Josiah had grown, length wise.
At 11:00 AM Josiah showed off his taste testing abilities for the OT and the speech and language pathologist (she observes his swallowing). He clearly enjoyed himself. We'll keep trying new foods every three days. The OT was also able to suggest some positioning ideas to help Josiah when he's in the crib.
It's time to say goodnight. Thanks for your love and prayers.
Blessings,
Elizabeth
