Air Conditioner

Isaac and I hung outside for a while this morning.  He enjoys playing in the sand box, especially with his new digger.  I tried to clean a few things while he played.  Josiah enjoyed a long stroller ride and then returned just before lunch.  He was very fussy in his room and we attributed it to the heat and humidity.  My dad was there so he put in our air conditioner while Josiah spent a long time in the swing outside.  There was a nice breeze and the humidity broke.

One of the main challenges in Josiah's room is that his oxygen concentrator produces so much heat.  We didn't need to heat his room all winter as it did the job for us.  The air conditioner has helped immensely.  We may move the concentrator to our room and hopefully the window fan which Graham bought tonight will help remove the heat from our room.

We're having some wall tile regrouted and sealed in our bathroom starting tomorrow so we are heading to my parent's home for three days tomorrow morning.  It will be interesting to look after Josiah there.  Graham is actually leaving for a two day conference early on Thursday morning so we were able to book a nurse to come from 3:30 - 9:00 PM on both Thursday and Friday evenings.

We were grieved this morning to learn of the death of a beautiful young lady whom we had written about last September.  She is with Jesus.  Our prayers are with her family.

Thanks so much for your prayers!

Blessings,

Elizabeth

  1. Good morning Elizabeth:

You certainly have your hards full. I will pray that the transition to your Mom's house goes peacefully for Josiah. Change can be tricky.. Have a great day.
