We finally got the green light to leave McMaster this afternoon. It took some time for the McMaster team to coordinate some items with the SickKids and Grand River follow-up teams, so it was about 3:30 PM when we left for Kitchener. Josiah did quite well in the van, although he got a little grumpy for the last 10 minutes of the ride. We got home shortly before 5:00 PM.

Josiah didn't warm to Isaac's hugs and kisses right away... |
It was a joyous reunion with Isaac. He was actually in the washroom when we arrived. He told Grandma F., who was helping him, "I am excited!" He gave Baby lots of hugs and kisses, and wanted to tickle his toes. He also appreciated Daddy's whisker kisses and Mommy's hugs and kisses. It was great to all be together again.
Our kind neighbour brought some delicious treats over after we arrived. We are surrounded by so many wonderful people.
I (Graham) will be returning to work tomorrow, as our day nurse is back on in the morning. My mother will be with us for all day tomorrow as well, which is a big blessing. Elizabeth and I are certainly tired after nearly a week away, and are looking forward to a good sleep tonight.

Josiah was happy to play in his exersaucer again |
Josiah is relatively calm at the moment, but he has been pretty wired all evening. He finally closed his eyes a few minutes ago, and hopefully his coughing won't wake him up in the night.
Thanks again everyone for your prayers and support. Lord willing this coming weekend doesn't have the drama of last weekend!
Blessings,
Graham
