Josiah loves pulling his tubes |
Grandma and Grandpa F. hung out with us today.
The visiting nurse came by and listened to Josiah's chest. She thought it sounded the same as yesterday.
We enjoyed a delicious dinner of chicken stuffed with goat cheese, raisins, and cashews.
For the first time ever, Isaac woke up this evening and said, "I'm scared." He told me that his body was shaking and that he needed his water cup. I tried to delve into what he meant by saying he was scared but I couldn't figure it out. I reminded him that Mommy and Daddy aren't far away and asked him who is always with him. I wondered if his new library book had used these words but I just read it and it is no longer a suspect. Thankfully he went back to sleep easily. I don't want my son to fear.
One week ago today we thought we might lose Josiah. He was throwing up, struggling to breath, was turning blue and his eyes looked very different all of a sudden. We thank God (and the amazing medical staff we encountered) for giving Josiah back to us.
