The top photo shows Josiah's new muslin blanket. I bought the same one the day we left SickKids in November but it was lost in the ambulance on the way to the hospital at the beginning of May. He loves these blankets so I was happy to see it when it arrived this week.
Josiah's forehead felt very warm last night so I gave him Tylenol then Advil and another dose of Tylenol this morning. I slept on his floor so that I was sure to hear him. I'm assuming he had a fever due to the vaccinations yesterday. Today the nurses thought Josiah was teething so perhaps a new tooth is coming in. He's sleeping peacefully now and he fell asleep easily.
Graham and Isaac went to the park this morning and had a good time going down the big slide. Josiah also went for a stroller ride. We try to put off the oxygen concentrator when Josiah is out of the house with the oxygen tanks as the concentrator produces so much heat. It's also a little noisy. It was lovely to be in an empty and quiet house. I can't remember the last time that happened.
Tonight after supper we all went outside and enjoyed the fresh air. Josiah quickly fell asleep in the swing while Isaac enjoyed "rumbling". This was his word for sliding down the few stairs on his climber.
We look forward to being at church in the morning. Thank you for your prayers!
Blessings,
Elizabeth
Isaiah 40:28-31 (NIV)
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
As always, I am so thankful to read another blog, get a feel for what your day has been like and am blessed by the verses you choose. Pictures touch my heart too! Thank you. May tomorrow be another special day!
