A good sleep

I had a good sleep last night - almost 6 hours in a row!  This should mean that I was alert and focused the rest of the day but unfortunately I was still tired.  Thankfully my parents were around and the volunteer from the Hospice came to spend time with Isaac this afternoon.  He has fun with her.  Isaac was naming the letters for the word "table" and then he said "Bible" to the volunteer as he recognized the "ble" from the song, "The B-I-B-L-E."  Isaac had fun finding tables on which to stick the word.

The visiting nurse came this morning and she thought Josiah looked and sounded great.  He had a good day though he was agitated this evening.  Mind you, I woke him up to move him and give him a needle, then we changed his nasal prongs and I put gel up his nose then the evening nurse changed his diaper and put him in a sleeper - so, I guess I would have been annoyed too had I been peacefully sleeping.

We had actually forgotten that a nurse was coming until we opened the door.  She's here from 6:00 to 9:00.

My eyes keep closing so I'll say goodnight.  Thank you for your prayers!

Blessings,

Elizabeth

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

  2. Hi Elizabeth: This has to be one of my favourite verses. I am away all wk, but your Isaac
    reminded me about my thoughts with every photo of Josiah. The words always go through my mind that 'he is not sick'. We all know that God is always up to something and He always does sth good. However, we are so small when it comes to His ways and His ways are so much higher and even difficult for our comprehension, That is why we keep trusting Him with ALL of our hearts. Much love.
