Afternoon walk

The four of us made it to church again.  It was a cold day but we ventured outside in the afternoon and Josiah enjoyed sleeping in the comfort of his stroller.  Isaac was able to stand on our neighbour's skateboard.  He likes to watch the boys skateboard outside of our front window.  Josiah was quite blue today and coughed more this morning.  He was fussier as well.

We were saddened to hear about the sudden passing of one of Graham's extended family members.  Our prayers are with her family.

Thank you for your prayers!  They make a difference.

Blessings,

Elizabeth

2 Corinthians 4:18
So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen.  For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

  1. Hello Elizabeth and Graham.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.
For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations.
    Psalm 100 verses 4 & 5.

O LORD our LORD, how excellent is Thy name in all the earth! Who hast set Thy glory above the heavens.
Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast Thou ordained strength because of Thine enemies, that Thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
    Psalm 8 verses 1& 2.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever. Hebrews 13 v 8.

Show me Thy ways, O LORD; teach me Thy paths.
Lead me in Thy truth and teach me: for Thou art the God of my Salvation; On Thee do I wait all the day.
Remember O LORD, Thy tender mercies and Thy loving-kindnesses, for they have been ever of old.
    Psalm 25 verse 4-6.

Our Gracious Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name grant dear Josiah a restful night. Soothe and heal him completely. May he breathe easily and have a clear chest and be a healthy colour and feel good and be a delight to all. Sustain Elizabeth and Graham and increase their faith, strength and hope and bless them and Isaac with peaceful sleep. Comfort them and all of Graham’s extended family who are sad due to the sudden passing of a loved one. Thank you God.

Love and prayers from your auntie Julia.
