Fighting

While the nurse played with Josiah this morning, I took Isaac on a quick trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house so I could see his new tricycle. There's more room there for him to play with it.  After his nap at home, he awoke to find Grandma F. pushing Josiah in the stroller.

It was an uneventful and good day.

Last night Isaac was pretending.  He said to Graham, "Isaac and Daddy fight."  He took on a fighting stance (with a smile).  We asked him where he learned about fighting and he replied, "The Bible."  Then, he took his Bible and turned to the picture of people fighting when Noah was building the ark.  Isaac had done the exact same pose.  He was talking about being angry and fighting again today so I told him he could be angry about injustice and fight spiritual battles.  I'm not sure it registered.  I have my work cut out for me as I want to have a little peacekeeper.

Today was the first time we heard Isaac ask the meaning of something.  He started singing the "walking, and leaping and praising God" song so he asked, "rise up mean?"  and then, "healing mean?"

It's time to give Josiah his last medicine of the night.  Thank you for your prayers!

Blessings,

Elizabeth

  1. Elizabeth these pictures are so lovely! Thanks for keeping up the blog - it's great to see how Josiah is doing. What a wonderful, patient mother you are. Those boys are lucky to have so much love surrounding them!
