It was a long night last night. Josiah did not sleep much and he was hard to console this morning. We ended up giving him chloral hydrate for the second time since we've been home. Last time, it seemed to work very quickly but this time it still took us a while to settle him. I was very tired this morning so I headed back to bed for a nap and my mom took Isaac to the library program that began today.
Isaac had a good time at the library and afterward he enjoyed playing catch with Grandma as you can see in the photos. Later, he and I had a successful adventure searching for mud puddles outside. Tonight Isaac didn't want to eat his cauliflower. He said it would make his tummy sad.
I just gave Josiah his last meds for the night (hopefully) but he seems wide awake which is not the norm. He's also very sweaty. I'll have to sign off for now. Thanks for your prayers!
Blessings,
Elizabeth
P.S. I enjoyed some delicious spinach soup today!
John 15:5
I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
Dear Elizabeth and Graham: I am so happy that God gives us laughter. Josiah's laughs are a treasure, as are Isaac's.
ReplyDeleteThis was a song from my Grandma:
I Know Who Holds Tomorrow
I don't know about tomorrow,I just live from day to day.I don't borrow from its sunshine
For its skies may turn to gray. I don't worry o'er the future, For I know what Jesus said and today I"ll walk beside Him, For He knows what is ahead.
Many things about tomorrow I don't seem to understand; But I know who holds tomorrow and I know who holds my hand. Always praying. Much love.
