I need to head to bed so this will be brief. A nurse from Medigas came to assess Josiah's need for oxygen. He passed with flying colours. Usually they only need to check once a year but because Josiah was listed under palliative care, they reassess after the first three months.
Josiah was enjoying the funny noises his nurse was making to entertain him today. He was laughing and smiling. Isaac joined Josiah in the crib for a little while. This morning Josiah was on his mat chattering away to himself. The nurse came to get me so that I could see Josiah as he's never chatted so much before.
Isaac's doing a great job keeping dry and letting us know when he needs to use his potty. I'm so thankful I picked up that book at the library.
Josiah's BMs are once again less frequent. I'm sure the decrease in fluid and the increase in formula concentration (due to having one less feed) has affected him. The dietitian comes tomorrow so we'll see what she has to say.
I feel more "out of it" than usual. I hope a good sleep tonight will help. A friend called me tonight and it was nice to catch up. Thanks so much for your prayers!
Blessings,
Elizabeth
Psalm 46:1-3
God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge!
You are doing just what you are supposed to be doing - trusting God each day and taking each day at a time. We thank God for His faithfulness and His strength, wisdom and guidance which He gives to you and Graham and Isaac. What a faithful God. When I pray for you, I begin with lots of thanks and praise for Your gift of Josiah of 11 months old. Much love.
