Library time

Today was a good day for the Faulkners.  Isaac and I walked to the library this morning and Graham met us there.  We read stories and played with puzzles.  Graham and Isaac walked home.  I was told that it was a very loud walk home as it was a little too close to Isaac's nap time.

Josiah was quite happy today, especially this morning.  He had an extended playtime in the exersaucer and the nurse gave him a bath.  He enjoys being in the water.

I walked into his room this afternoon and found him with his nasal prongs at his chin.  He was so happy and gave me a huge smile.  I decided to check his sats (the monitor is never on him during the day) but unfortunately his sats were very low so I put the nasal prongs back in his nose and once again taped them to his face.  This angered him so he cried for a while.  It's certainly tempting to just let him be happy without blasting oxygen through his nose.

My brother dropped by for a visit this afternoon.  He was able to spend time with Josiah and Isaac.  Josiah hung out in his stroller in the kitchen while I made dinner.  It was nice to have him there.

The elbow splints seem to be working so far and they don't seem to bother Josiah at night.  He can still move his arms and hands but his fingers can't reach his face.  I wouldn't be surprised if he figured out how to squirm out of the restraint.

It's time to say goodnight.  Thank you so much for your prayers and support!

Blessings,

Elizabeth
